From Saturn Guidance to Consumer Computing: A Digital Pioneer's Journey

Join HAL5 as we welcome back Luke Talley, who will talk about his career
path working on computing technology. Luke worked on a wide range of
computing technology programs in his varied career. He started at the
Federal Electric Corp in Huntsville in 1965, working on Ground Support
at Marshall Space Flight Center. He continued to support NASA and Army
programs with IBM, working on the computing and systems engineering of
the Saturn Instrument Unit, Skylab, and the Patriot Missile. He later
transitioned to commercial computing technology, supporting the
development of printers and banking systems from 1980 - 1998. After
retiring from IBM, he came back to Huntsville to work on the Patriot
missile with Wyle until 2016.
